Job summary
This post sits within the Autism and Learning Disability Team. This team provides complex neurodevelopmental assessment and post assessment psycho education to CYP aged 12 -19 and provides specialist psychological therapies to autistic children, young adults and their families and to those with developmental learning disabilities. This service includes psychodynamic psychotherapy, family therapy, group work and a limited number of brief interventions.
Main duties of the job
This role is 4 sessions as the Clinical Team Lead for both the assessment and intervention pathways and as the Principal Clinician working across both pathways.
You will have clinical expertise in specialist diagnostic assessment of social communication and demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of excellent care to Children and Young People. You will lead the Multi-Disciplinary diagnostic assessment service as well as the complex psychological therapies pathway, ensuring the delivery of a range of outcome-focused, evidence-based, complex assessments and be responsible for the formulation and delivery of specialised programmes of care.
You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and experience in leading complex change programmes delivering improved outcomes for CYP and their families.
