Job summary
The Gender Identity Development Service for Children and Adolescents (GIDS) is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join this multi-disciplinary service supporting young people who are exploring their gender identity. GIDS has two main centres in London and Leeds, with regional teams in Bristol and Birmingham and an outreach clinic in Exeter. This post is based at the Tavistock Centre, London.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the General Manager to manage the delivery of a range of complex clinical, administrative and support services.
This role is accountable for the structure of the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care within budget constraints, providing strong leadership to enable the services to respond effectively to the challenges they face whilst providing efficient clinical services and sustained improvements.
This role is a fixed term position for 4 months to support the Assistant General Manager in the closure of the service. It is an excellent opportunity for a team leader with admin lead manager experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.
