Informatics - ICT Director - Band 9
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to oversee the department for 9 months.
Provide proactive and visible leadership in managing the direction and performance of the ICT department to provide a reliable, cost-effective and efficient service. Accountable for the delivery of major technical programmes within ICT.
Continue working with the Trust and Informatics to develop and deliver a long-term infrastructure strategy and investment plan for the Trust, a key enabler for innovation and, driving force for technical and digital transformation.

Main duties of the job
The role will work with several teams within ICT and across Informatics to provide support and direction. This will include providing support remote and in person. The team upholds a strong team ethic and values.
The role will lead the teams to ensure delivery and services are maintained to a high, quality standard, within an assured warranted environment, in line with the strategic needs of the Trust and partner organisations.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of major technical programmes within ICT and provide guidance to large Trust programmes that have a digital dependency.
Ensure the infrastructure meets defined standard as well as Trust needs, and successfully completes various local and national level audits.
