Gynaecology and Fertility Private Outpatients Sister (Fixed term)
Band 6Full Time - 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday and occasional weekends.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Outpatients Nurse to support our Private services and to join the team in our large and successful Centre of Reproductive Medicine located at St Bartholomew's Hospital in the City of London.
The successful candidate will be expected to have strong Gynaecology experience and have some knowledge of aspects of Fertility Nursing. This includes supporting patients throughout their investigations, treatment and follow-up. Also managing specialist Gynaecological procedures such as Outpatient Hysteroscopy, HyCosy and Colposcopy.
Working closely with the Private consultants in providing the highest quality of Care to Private patients.
Main duties of the job
Applicants require a minimum of two years post-registration experience at the time of application and the confidence to take on the responsibilities of a specialist role. You will also need to demonstrate a mature outlook, have excellent communication skills, be motivated to provide the highest standards of nursing care and show a genuine interest in working in this area.
Some flexibility in working hours is required to ensure service cover.
