Job summary

The Barts Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) team is looking to recruit a motivated trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (tACP) to our specialised Cardiac Sarcoidosis (CS) service. In joining our dynamic team, the successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with all members of the service to provide exemplary care to patients with CS. You will work very closely with the lead CS consultant to provide exemplary clinical care and work towards qualifying as an ACP.*Please note that Interviews are planned for 15/04/2026

Main duties of the job

We serve a diverse cohort patients and their families. The post-holder will work proactively to deliver safe and effective specialist advanced care, as well as contributing to the improvement of the service and the development of this new and exciting post. Applicants must have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.

As one of the country's leading specialist cardiac centres, aiming to be at the forefront of care provision and service design, it is expected that the post-holder will work closely with both regional and national CS ACPs and CNSs from other Trusts, national ICC professional organisations and third-sector colleagues to provide comprehensive and holistic care for our patients.

  • First level degree (HEI level 5 or 6) in nursing, midwifery, equivalent AHP or pharmacy.
  • Postgraduate level study (HEI level 7) or demonstrable post graduate level working evidenced via a continuous professional development portfolio.
