Job summary
The Clinical Governance Lead is responsible for maintaining oversight of ACCESS'sgovernance and risk profile. This entails overseeing compliance with governanceprotocols, facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders, andpromoting a culture of accountability and risk management. The Clinical GovernanceLead is a leadership position that requires expertise in governance with an ability todevelop and implement robust governance frameworks, policies and SOP's. Byproviding guidance, support, and oversight, you will contribute to the overalleffectiveness and quality of the ACCESS operating system.
Main duties of the job
Design and implement a robust clinical governance framework forACCESS ratified by the Operational Leadership Board, Partnership Boardand Barts Health NHS Trust,o Oversee preparation and reporting of monthly ACCESS Governancereports, including summaries of key service governance indices such asDeath within 72-hours of transfer, Datix reports, Serious Incidents (SI's),complaints and Failure Log for ACCESS Governances (FLAGs),o Collaborate with the Risk Lead to maintain ACCESS Risk register,o Organise and chair the monthly ACCESS Governance meeting,ACCESS LONDONo Ensure distribution of monthly ACCESS Governance report to the ACCESSOperational Leadership Team and the ACCESS Strategic Board,o Ensure the distribution of the monthly ACCESS Governance report tointernal and external stakeholders, including NHS London, LondonAmbulance Service, London ODNs, and St Bartholomew's Clinical SupportServices Directorate,o Attend ACCESS Operational Leadership Team meetings and provide agovernance update as a standing order,o Investigate ACCESS Datix submissions and provide reports for and StBartholomew's Governance team to review,o Review Deaths within 72-hours of transfer, and FLAGs.o Review all tasking's highlighted for governance review and feedbackoutcomes,
