Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to step into a Band 3 MSW on Mulberry ward.

As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.

Main duties of the job

The role will include assisting and supporting women, their babies and the midwifery team.

Vital to have, Phlebotomy Skills, excellent communication skills and a good team player. Able to recognise the and identify the unwell baby.

  • Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • NVQ level 3 or Equivalent (or working towards)

Desirable

  • Previous NHS experience of two years as a health care assistant
  • Completion of care cerrtificate.

Experience

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a maternity unit setting as band 2 or equivalent.
