An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Paediatric Nurses to join the Rainbow Centre for Children and Young People at Newham University Hospital.
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care to acutely unwell children and young people, and who are keen to further develop their leadership and clinical skills within a supportive multidisciplinary
Main duties of the job
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to children and young people within an acute paediatric setting
- Act as a Band 6 nurse in charge, providing clinical leadership and supporting junior staff
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care
- Support and contribute to service development, quality improvement, and audit
- Act as a role model for professional practice, in line with Trust values and NMC standards
- Recognise personal limitations and escalate concerns appropriately
