Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and motivated Imaging Assistant for our Core Services Radiography department. This Position is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract and will be based at St. Bartholomew's Hospital which is in the heart of the City of London- St. Paul's.
We offer a full range of local and specialist services, which includes centres for the treatment of cancer, heart conditions, fertility problems, endocrinology and sexual health conditions. The hospital includes the site of the new state-of-the-art Bart's Heart Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Europe's largest specialised cardiovascular centre. The post holder will work closely with the Clinical, Radiographic and managerial teams.

Main duties of the job
As a member of our busy and dynamic department your central role would be to provide the highest quality care for patients referred to our service.
The post holder is responsible for providing support to, and will form part of the Imaging team. Working under the trained Radiographer's supervision.
The post holder will have a key role in preparing patients for their examinations in Imaging. The post holder will schedule work for the Imaging department. The post holder will liaise with portering staff to ensure that the patients are transported safely and appropriately to and from the Imaging department.
In addition you would provide clerical and admin support.
