Job summary

The Royal London hospital is looking to recruit band 5 nurses to join our critical care and surgical teams on our Surgical High Dependency Unit.

This is a 12 bedded high dependency and enhanced care unit caring for complex elective surgical patients from multiple specialties. These include Neuro, Trauma, Hepatobiliary, Colorectal, Gynae-Oncology, Vascular, ENT, and Maxillo-Facial amongst others.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Registered Nurses who have previous experience in an acute ward environment and are looking for and exciting new challenge.

Essential requirements

    • Be NMC Registered RGN
    • Previous experience in acute area or surgical ward
    • Teaching and mentoring skills
    • Excellent communication skill

We provide a structured supernumerary orientation and band 5 foundation programme to meet your individual needs. There is further opportunity to access accredited academic learning in critical care and surgical subjects.
