Job summary
Applications are invited for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Respiratory - Band 6 nurse to join our multi-disciplinary, integrated and award-winning team of respiratory nurses and physiotherapist called Adult Respiratory Care and Rehabilitation (ARCARE). Working fulltime in our different services at Royal London Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital and Mile End Hospital. This is an excellent development opportunity for an existing Band 6 to specialist in respiratory or a Band 5 with respiratory nursing experience to develop into a Band 6 for six months.
The post holder will work closely with respiratory teams, across sites (occasional cross site cover may be required). This is an exciting role that supports an integrated approach in supporting respiratory patients across the various patient pathways including in-patient reviews, diagnostic (spirometry) and follow-up asthma /COPD clinics, respiratory virtual ward, home oxygen, primary care education, respiratory case management and pulmonary rehabilitation. We support an internal rotation program within the department to enhance ones respiratory nursing skills. We are looking for a patient focused nurse to join our team and help the service deliver responsive and compassionate care
