We are currently looking for Health Care Assistants (band 3) to join our team. We are an established team looking after patients who have undergone surgical procedures and also those with acute /chronic health conditions.

As a health care assistant on ward your responsibilities would be taking observations, assist in patients with personal care and mobility. You will be constantly providing our patients with the highest standard of customer service.You will be doing a mixture of nights and day shifts.

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will be an integral part of the nursing team actively taking part in meeting the needs of patients and of the service in accordance with agreed standards under direct supervision of the registered nurse.
  • The post holder will continue to develop essential competencies though training and practice to ensure safety and quality are the priority.
