Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to support the Imaging Regulatory Compliance Team in promoting quality, safety and governance across our imaging and cardiac diagnostics departments. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in the both clinical and office workspace environment, and is looking for a dynamic, fast-paced role, interacting with a variety of multidisciplinary stakeholders. The individual should have skills and temperament to work in a collaborative manner across a wide range of internal services and external partners and display sound knowledge of radiography clinical practice

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as a member of the Imaging Regulatory Compliance Team to coordinate and deliver a range of activities at site level and within individual service groups, to ensure compliance with imaging quality, radiation safety, and regulatory standards. This individual will work with the Group Radiation Safety Assurance Manager and Group Imaging Quality Manager on the Radiation Assurance and imaging accreditation programmes. The postholder will work across the hospital sites of the Barts Health Group and in collaboration with the North East London Imaging Network, working with departments where ionising and non-ionising radiation is used for the diagnosis and treatment of disease, screening programmes and research. The programme will ensure consistency of approach across all hospital sites, minimising duplication and promoting best practice

  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Experience

  • Demonstratable experience in an imaging department with subject matter expertise in chosen modality
  • Experience of working at a senior level within an imaging service.
