Junior Sister/Charge Nurse - Band 6 We are looking for an inspired individual with Cardiology experience to further develop their leadership skills on a cardiology ward. The job will be suitable for experienced staff nurses looking to advance their leadership and clinical skills. The job offers the unique opportunity to bring your expertise to ensure safe and compassionate patient experience whilst maximising our capacity utilisation through innovative ways. You will be leading the staff members to deliver high quality care in our Cardiology ward which includes cardiology step down beds as well as and inter- hospital transfer pathway. We have 24/7 catheterisation labs offering world renowned emergency care to cardiology patients. You will be led by a highly motivated ward manager and work alongside a team of highly competent nurses and healthcare support workers. You will engage with your peers from other cardiology wards and senior nursing team working collaboratively to achieve the Trust's vision.

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to ensure patients receive high quality care whilst ensuring the smooth daily passage of the emergency pathway. The post holder will pro-actively lead and manage the nursing team and help the team to achieve their aspirations.

The post holder will actively contribute to realise the service vision and key targets by working closely with the service leads. The ward manager will partner with the peers to drive incremental innovation to achieve safe and compassionate patient experience
