Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiography

We are seeking a dynamic and conscientious Echocardiographer to work at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work at the Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew's Hospital located in The City of London, with rotation to one of the other sites within the Trust network (Newham Hospital) and contribute to the weekend working rota on a rotational basis. The department holds dual accreditation with both the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) and European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), so this is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as a competent Echocardiographer with opportunities to progress to training in advanced specialist areas i.e. Cardio-oncology, cardiomyopathy and/or adult congenital heart disease.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking individual who will contribute to the cardiac physiology team and echo service.

Furthermore, you will be supported to develop your leadership skills as you supervise and train staff in the performance of their individual roles and give support to senior staff members.
