- Extensive post-registration experience working in an acute hospital setting in the NHS (or similar health service) within orthopaedics and frailty speciality
- Leading and operationally line-managing a team, with experience of supervising and appraising junior staff and students
- Experience of working within a high pressured and fast paced environment
- Experience of implementing quality improvement / research ideas that lead to improved service delivery and care to patients profession & externally to other staff groups
- Ability to recognise service risks and issues and escalate accordingly
- Ability to recognise own professional boundaries and to seek advice and support as needed
- Understand legal responsibilities of the profession & associated code of ethics
- Degree in Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapy
- Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
