Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor (ST3+ level) in Colorectal Surgery. The post is for 3 months. The successful applicant will work in the capacity of a registrar to one of the consultants within the Colorectal Surgery Unit and will be responsible for both inpatient elective and emergency work as well as supporting the trauma team whilst on call.

The successful applicant will work in the capacity of a registrar to one of the consultants within the Colorectal Surgery Unit and will be responsible for both inpatient elective and emergency work.The post is not approved for basic or higher surgical training but will provide ample training opportunities and will suit a senior trainee committed to a Surgical career or seeking additional experience of Colorectal Surgery at registrar level. Previous NHS experience is essential for this role.There is also scope for training and working closely with the General Surgery team including clinic and theatre and on-calls.
