Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to lead on Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle version 3 (SBLCBv3). We are looking for a midwife who has experience of implementing and managing a programme with key deliverables. The midwife must have excellent communication skills, work well under pressure and be able to prioritise work to timescales. We are working towards continuous development of our services to meet the maternity transformation agenda and this role is key. The midwife must have a philosophy of woman-centred care and good knowledge of the SBLCBv3 in line with Maternity Incentive Scheme (MIS)
Main duties of the job
To lead, facilitate and build on the current practice to enable the delivery of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle version 3
The post holder will work with midwifery, obstetric, and neonatal colleagues to lead on the continued implementation and monitoring of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle v3 at Whipps Cross Hospital. The postholder is expected to have excellent communication skills and be able to manage their own workload.
The successful candidate will support and work alongside the leads for the individual elements to achieve compliance with MIS (Maternity Incentive Scheme) standard 6. They will have overall responsibility for leading, facilitating and building on all the 6 elements of SBLCB v3.
