The services at St Bartholomew's Hospital support the new Barts Heart Centre which has brought together the services of some of the best cardiovascular experts in the country alongside the well-established cancer service.

You will be joining us at an incredibly exciting time, as we realise a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve services for today's patients and future generations and create a world class cardiovascular service

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Recovery Practitioner to support the integration of our cancer services within the Thoracic and general (Thoracic Robotic, Breast, Endocrine, ocular, fertility and Brachytherapy) theatres. Experience within these specialities is desirable, once appointed we will build upon your specialist course with the support of a mentor and the experienced multidisciplinary team.

We offer a wide range of development opportunities including extensive mandatory training, Band 5 development programme, the opportunity for further academic studies and attendance at external conferences and courses.
