Job summary

You will work within a small friendly team covering both general clinical and ophthalmic imaging across the Royal London, Whipps Cross and Newham University Hospitals. To meet these challenges you will be outgoing and self-motivated with the ability to switch from being a committed team player to being able to work alone when required.
The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in Clinical Photography or an equivalent, and be a AHCS registered clinical photographer or working towards registration.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will form part of a small team maintaining a high quality medical illustration service to Barts Health NHS Trust, with specific responsibility for clinical photography, teledermatology clinics, adult/paediatric ophthalmic imaging and paediatric retinoblastoma ophthalmic imaging.
You will be based predominantly at The Royal London Hospital or Whipps Cross Hospital, however you will have a remit to cover all sites within the Trust.
You will be an integral player in taking the department into the future and feed in ideas for improvement.
