Bart's Heart and Thorax Centre (BHTC) are currently seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Cardiac MRI & Cath Labs trained Radiographer who is looking for the opportunity to join a friendly, hard-working, ambitious and highly skilled team of Radiographers within the largest Cardiovascular Centre in Europe.
The Cardiac Imaging department boasts a wealth of state-of-the-art equipment, with three dedicated Cardiac MRI scanners, a dedicated photon counting Cardiac CT scanner, ten Cardiac Catheter Labs and endovascular theatre, networking and expanding our services across the Trust. We are proud to lead the way in world-first procedures using latest technological advances and undertaking ground-breaking research and live broadcasting of cases for educational meetings and congresses.
Our award winning department is a National Leader in scanning patients with Cardiac devices. We carry out a large amount of research and complex scanning with plenty of opportunities to get involved, and are immensely proud to have many of our Radiographers publishing research and representing us at conferences both in the UK and around the World.
Within BHTC Cath Labs, we provide 24 hour Heart Attack and Arrhythmia services via 3 call systems. As part of this fast paced, exciting role you would be a key member of the MDT, offering life-changing, life-saving diagnosis and treatment to patients from London and beyond.
Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Advanced Cardiac Radiographer to work across Cardiac MRI and Cath Labs. Advanced Cardiac MRI experience is essential for this post; we can however offer in house Cath Lab training for the right candidate if required. The working pattern of this post is comprised of 4x 9.5hr shifts per week, with optional weekend lists on staff bank.
