This role offers a unique opportunity to work within one of London's eight designated Hyper-Acute Stroke Units (HASUs)--a centre of excellence for acute stroke rehabilitation and care. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy from the Emergency Department (ED) and for patients temporarily placed on non-stroke wards.

Main duties of the job
- Lead a Multidisciplinary Stroke Therapy TeamOversee a team that includes Band 6 Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy posts, delivering specialist care to stroke patients in the Emergency Department and on non-stroke wards.
- Advanced Clinical PracticePlay a major and specialist role in the advanced assessment, treatment, and clinical management of stroke patients--determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits, and appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
- Service Efficiency & InnovationDevelop dynamic, efficient, and effective OT working processes to support a fully multi-professional team approach in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Service Development & LeadershipCollaborate with Clinical Lead Therapists to shape and evolve the service in response to changing health and social care priorities.
