Job summary

The Waltham Forest Women's Health Hub is seeking a Gynaecology Nurse to provide expert nursing service, advice, information, support and holistic care for gynaecology referrals in a multidisciplinary setting in the community. This role will involve providing supervision and training to Healthcare Assistant staff working within the Women's Health Hub and managing a caseload of patients ensuring a high standard of evidence-based nursing, gynaecological manage and discharge.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for a Gynaecology Nurse to help deliver and shape the future of women's health services within the NHS. If you are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes for women and have post registration experience in general or specialist gynaecological services, we would love to hear from you.

This will be achieved through clinical practice, management of patient caseload, education, research, audit and professional activities relating to Gynaecological care. The post holder will join the existing Gynaecology clinical nurse specialists and have close working relationships with the gynaecology team at Whipps Cross Hospital. There will likely also be some shared learning opportunities with the Women's Health Hub team in Tower Hamlets. The post holder will promote safe, competent and evidence- based practice, in line with national objectives and within the clinical governance framework.
