We're excited to announce a full time position as the Maternity and Neonatal Quality and Compliance Support Officer. This role offers you the opportunity to collaborate with clinical, operational, and governance colleagues, as well as the broader health system, to drive positive change for women and birthing people at Whipps Cross Hospital. Your focus will be the collection and coordination of evidence to assurance us and our regulators that we are meeting the quality standards expected for the long term.Main duties of the job:The post holders' primary responsibility will be to support the effective and timely delivery of a number of Maternity safety and improvement programmes; o Maternity Incentive Scheme safety standards (CNST)o Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulation, compliance and action planso NHSE Maternity and Neonatal Three Year Plano MSSP Recommended actionso Quality peer review visits and action planso Complaints processThis includes supporting the Quality and Compliance lead to gather and log evidence submitted, analyse and prepare data and reports, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Main duties of the job
Skills required:o Proven administrative experience, including document management.o Ability to plan their own workload, including the ability to prioritise ad hoc work.o Planning and management of key meetings including minute taking, maintaining an action log and agenda creation.o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.o Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to present qualitative and quantitative data.Previous experience of working in a Maternity service would be advantageous but is not essential.

The post-holder is a key member of the Maternity and Neonatal Team and integral to the business and governance of quality and compliance. The post holder will support the multi-disciplinary team, to effectively drive, deliver and provide evidence based assurance that the requirements of quality and regulatory compliance are being implemented effectively and sustainably. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Quality & Compliance Lead deliver the following: o Care Quality Commission regulation and compliance o Quality visits schedule for the Trust o Maternity Incentive Scheme safety standards o National regulatory standards o Quality action plan monitoring and reporting o Complaints handling
