Band 6 - Primary Schools Service - Full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term contract for 11 months in the first instance.

We are looking for someone with a clinical interest in social communication differences and has experience of working with autistic children. You will be working in mainstream schools, some of which will have Autism Classes. You will also support children with language disorder and a range of other communication difficulties.

Main duties of the job
The post holder works as a member of the Speech and Language Therapy Children's Service. He / she works as a member of the team that provides support to children in mainstream primary and secondary schools, across language resource provisions and alternative provisions. The post holder participates in the assessment and advice service as well as supporting a designated caseload of children and schools in line with the service priorities.
