We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our CNS team. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced renal nurse. This post is a 12-month part time fixed term or secondment to cover 18.5 hours per week. This is an opportunity for anyone with a passion for renal transplantation and looking for flexible working.

The Renal Transplant team sees, acute and long-term transplant patients, donors and pre-transplant patients for their assessments and reviews. The post holder will be working as part of the pre transplant team.The post holder will take an active role in preparing and leading on the pre transplant MDTs

Main duties of the job

To co-ordinate the assessment of patients prior to transplantation. To promote and enable safe, specialised, expert management and care and act as a key accessible professional along the entire patient journey
