The Cardiovascular CAG is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Barts Heart Centre's Administrative Team leaders. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who will be responsible for the Cardiology Admitted service and work closely with the clinical teams in this area and beyond.The purpose of this post is to provide effective and efficient leadership of the Admitted Cardiology service. As the Deputy Delivery Manager, you will manage and co-ordinate administrative services for the Intervention and EP teams, ensuring we meet quality and activity targets.You will take ownership of ptl validation and data quality issues for the service; undertake complaint investigations; and lead on service improvement projects under the support and guidance of the Service Delivery Manager.In return, we will develop your skills, knowledge and experience with formal and on-the-job training
Your primary base will be St Bartholomew's Hospital, West Smithfield, London, EC1A 7BE. We will enable flexible working patterns where possible
Main duties of the job

The post holder will be based at St Bartholomew's Hospital / St Martin Le Grand Building and will report to the Service Delivery Manager.
We want a passionate and dedicated manager who can run a high-quality service and drive transformation.
The post demands effective communication skills, confidence and diplomacy with the abilityto work in a busy environment with challenging deadlines. The successful post holder will be comfortable and familiar with using data to inform priorities, as well as working with and communicating across a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have experience in leading an administrative team, can demonstrate an ability to deliver sustainable service improvement and has a track record of improving quality and patient experience in line with Trust and NHS requirements and standards
