Job summary

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious People Partner to join us here at the Royal London and Mile End Hospital site, for a period of 12 months covering maternity leave. We are a busy and fast paced service, with a wide ranging people agenda planned for the upcoming years. A key focus will be supporting the service in how supports it staff, working collaboratively with the site Wellbeing team to achieve this, as well as supporting the service in improving workforce productivity and making the best possible use of the resource it has.

The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, being able to work autonomously, be pro-active in their thinking and be confident in presenting new ways of working. Stakeholder management is key in this role and the post holder will be able to demonstrate experience of influencing senior leaders and gain their support for the people agenda. The individual will form part of a high performing people team and it will be important that they are able to work well and contribute to the teams efforts in achieving the people priorities for the upcoming year.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

o Think strategically and provide Workforce and OD support and advice providing the professional HR interface with the Trust's workforce systems

o Fully understand the business and support RLH & MEH in developing its culture and improving service quality, patient safety and developing a high performing customer focused workforce.

o Be an integral member of the RLH & MEH People Team delivering a comprehensive, professional and high-quality People service to Trust corporate directorates in support of agreed strategic and business plans.

o Provide professional high quality strategic HR advice to RLH & MEH managers.

o Use workforce data and analytics to support delivery and measure the effectiveness of Workforce and OD interventions and policies and understand how to make further improvements.
