Job summary
As a band 8a Physiotherapy lead it is anticipated that you would work at an advanced clinical level and thus manage patients that may require more specialist MSK assessment, investigations and onward referral. There is opportunity to collaborate and lead in pathway development and quality improvement programs with key stakeholders and you will be able to directly influence the strategic direction of the services.
Main duties of the job
You will provide direct clinical supervision to the band 7s within own specialist professional field and will have line management responsibility for Allied Health Professionals and support staff spanning the multidisciplinary team. You will be supported and appraised by the Newham Head of Therapies.
The service supports in-service training along with a robust personal development review programme to support staff with their learning and development. There is access to training provided across the trust's wider outpatient musculoskeletal service and support for post graduate training.
