Job summary
We are recruiting for Band 5 Anaesthetic Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join our experienced teams in In-patient Theatres.
The Royal London Hospital is an internationally reputable Trauma Centre and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).
We have 26 state-of-the art elective and emergency theatres, covering a variety of specialties and complex procedures:
Hepto-billary, complex ENT, trauma & orthopaedics, reconstructive orthopaedics, neurosurgery, complex vascular surgery, intervention radiology, maxilla facial surgery, robotic procedures, renal transplants, plastic reconstructive surgery, neonatal surgery, shared airway ENT, ophthalmic surgery, along with providing paediatric expertise to the major trauma service in South East of England
We also cover outside areas in the hospital including endoscopy unit, radio-interventional suite, MRI/CT Scanner suites and our specialised staff work along the Trauma Team in Emergency Department's Resuscitation area. This offers an opportunity to work with renowned Specialist Trauma Surgeons and Anaesthetists.

Main duties of the job
You will be an enthusiastic and a motivated Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with a passion for Trauma Care and with a commitment to own professional development, ideally with an experience of working in a busy theatre environment
