We are looking for a full-time person who is enthusiastic with excellent organisational skills and has experienceofworking within a busy and dynamic environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an extremely busy breast unit across sites (Barts, Whipps and Newham) providing administrative assistance to Breast Surgery Network coordinator to ensure surgical procedures for Barts theatre and outsourcingofpatients to private hospitals is run smooth.
The team require a highly organised individual to assist with various databases and support the service. You will be energetic, positive, hardworking and enthusiastic. An ability to work at pace, to multi-task and to prioritise work are key skills required for the post.
You will enjoy working with a rangeoftasks and you will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.You will be computer literate, be conscientious and able to deal with confidential issues. You will need to deal with complex and sensitive information, have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will also be required to have excellent customer service skills as well as an attractive attitude that can respond sympathetically and respectfully to a multi-disciplinary team.
This is a demanding and busy role, and the successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values
Main duties of the job
The purpose of the Breast Network Administration coordinator is to actively manage the booking, scheduling and outsourcing of the Breast Network Surgery at Barts Health.
To actively capture and manage data for the network breast unit.
To manage patient pathways and coordinate surgical procedures within Barts Health and the outsourcing centres.
Ensuring a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their treatment journey.
