Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant in Oral Medicine and Behcet's to join the Royal London Hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract. This job presents an attractive and varied combination of Oral Medicine and Behcet's at a large teaching hospital. This is a full-time position (10 PAs).
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have experience in general Oral Medicine and the management of Behcet's disease. The post holder will be working in a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, medical and dental consultants and resident doctors to support the delivery of the service.

- Eligible for full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC
- Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Exit Examination in Oral Medicine or equivalent.
- Possession of a Certificate of Accreditation or eligibility for a CCST in Oral Medicine
- Name on Specialist Register on date of taking up appointment
Desirable
- Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Member of the faculty of Dental Surgery, or equivalent
- Current holder of an NHS or Honorary Consultant contract in Oral Medicine
Training and Experience

- Successful completion of an SAC-approved 3 year minimum training programme in Oral Medicine. Or within 6 months of completion, or equivalent
