An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Honorary Contracts Team Leader to join the Recruitment services at Barts Health NHS Trust.

We are looking for a very well-organised team player who can work well under pressure, whilst adhering to procedures and deadlines and thrives in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.

As the successful candidate you will have a background in either Recruitment or Human Resources, with some knowledge of HR policies and processes, along with a good understanding of finance.

As an ideal candidate, we are looking for a proactive team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work on own initiative whilst juggling and prioritising a busy workload.

The Team Leader will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the Honorary Contracts recruitment function, ensuring that workloads to support the service are being effectively managed across the sites to the expected quality standards and key performance indicators. Responsible for the raising of invoices in line with the Trusts charging framework

The role will include the provision of advice and support to managers and staff, in all aspects of the Honorary Contracts service including visa requirements, contracts and the interpretation of policies and procedures.

The post holder will be the lead for the financial management of Honorary Contracts, responsible for ensuring Invoices are raised and receipted in accordance with the Trusts charging framework.

You will need to have confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate strong organisational skills. A can-do approach and excellent communication skills are essential for the role.

The postholder will manage a team responsible for delivering the honorary contract service across the Trust.

  • Degree or equivalent HR/Recruitment knowledge acquired through relevant training or experience.
