Barts Health NHS Trust have an exciting opportunity to recruit a band 6 Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy trainees and supervisors; enhancing the training provision across the group of hospitals for a fixed term period of 12 months.

Main duties of the job

Please refer to attached job description for in depth duties and responsibilities.

The successful candidate will hold UK professional registration with the GPhC as a pharmacy technician and have extensive experience of tutoring and mentoring staff.

Essential skills required for this role includes experience of hospital pharmacy service delivery, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver training sessions to groups of staff. They should also have experience of practicing as an Educational Supervisor.
