Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Haemoglobinopathy Administrator Band 4 for Clinical Haematology Department) at Barts Health NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will require excellent communication and organisation skills and possess a positive attitude. Previous experience of medical secretarial work is essential with good levels of medical terminology and excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Oulook and PowerPoint. Good organisational and priority skills are also essential along with the ability to work under pressure.

Main duties of the job
The primary aim is to provide administrative support to the Adult Sickle Cell and Thalassemia service at The Royal London Hospital and support the role of The Royal London Hospital as a Specialist Centre within the East London and Essex Clinical Haemoglobinopathy Network.
The post-holder will work collaboratively with the team of doctors, nurses and allied professionals and with other administrative staff for the Haemoglobinopathy services and wider Clinical Haematology teams based at The Royal London Hospital
