We are delighted to invite applications for a 6-12 month fixed term post as an Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. This post will join The Royal London's team of Emergency Medicine specialist clinical fellows. We welcome applications from candidates looking to take up the post anytime during 2025.
Our Clinical Fellow posts are intended to provide experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine in a major trauma centre. They are aimed at Emergency Medicine or Paediatric trainees, looking to gain further experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. Our clinical fellow posts come with dedicated time to pursue an area of interest, with 20% of the job plan allocated to the Fellow's special programme activity. Available fellowship opportunities include:

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join a highly motivated, consultant led team delivering high quality emergency care to East London. The department receives a full range of emergencies from the local area in addition to major trauma from North East London and Essex with a total of 180,000 patients seen each year including 40,000 paediatric patients.
The post includes registrar level duties in the paediatric emergency department working on a full shift rota. Clinical duties are supported by 24/7 consultant presence, senior training registrars and a team of junior doctors and practitioners.Candidates must hold full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
