Job summary

I am inviting applications for an experienced pharmacy technician to join the Clinical Informatics Team. This is for a full time 8a pharmacy technician on a permanent basis. The post holder will be based at the Royal London Hospital, with responsibility for the Trust wide optimisation of clinical systems.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will assist the Lead Pharmacist, Informatics with the development and optimisation of electronic prescribing within the Trust, in conjunction with the Head of IT Projects and the EPR team. They will assist with the implementation of any new digital medicines' initiatives and support the pharmacy team in developing, validating and maintaining the wider pharmacy digital systems operated by the department.

They will ensure patient safety, security of access, system availability and that data accuracy is delivered by the system(s) and meets the requirements of the Trust, its patients and clinical staff.
