Main duties of the job
Regular weekly educations meeting will be organised and all available trainees are expected to attend. There are monthly audit days on which the trainees will be asked to present on going audits and outcomes data.

Operating Theatres first assistant or primary operator under supervision.
Participation in the organisation of operating timetable and admissions.
Undertaking daily ward rounds in ITU/HDU and dedicated cardiothoracic wards.
Carrying out general ward work under the supervision of the consultant.
Assisting in the aortic outpatient clinics.
Participation in regular audit meetings, teaching sessions and research meetings.
Running the aortovascular service, including MDTs, ward rounds.
