Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Adviser at Barts Health NHS Trust.

You will be supporting the Surgery, Perioperative Medicine, Adult Critical Care and Dental Division at the Royal London Hospital.In this role you will be the first point of contact providing advice and support to line managers and employees across a range of employee relations matters

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of managers and staff, and have experience of analysing situations in order to advise on an appropriate course of action and an ability to organise your own workload to meet service needs and competing deadlines.

Successful applicants must have the following:

- Degree in Human Resources or HR knowledge acquired through relevant training and experience working in an HR environment to degree equivalent level.

- Experience working within an HR environment and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters.

- A sound working knowledge of a range of policies and management procedures.This role will be working closely with the People Partner and managed by the Senior People Advisor through regular supervisions.

This is temporary role based at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. However, the Division operates across all Barts Health's sites, therefore flexibility and willingness to travel to other hospital sites (Whipps Cross, Newham, St Barts, and Mile End) is essential.

Main duties of the job

To provide support to the Associate Director, HR Business Partner and HR Managerin achieving the Trust's Human Resources Strategy.To ensure the efficient and effective provision of a comprehensive human resources service to designated CAGs or directorates and to contribute to enhancing a high quality andresponsive service to managers within the Trust.
