Job summary
The post holder will work as a member of the established Portering team to provide a Portering service, to the Trust, that is highly visible, service user focused and professional at all times with the overarching goals of creating a safe and crime free environment for all patients, staff, visitors, and the public
Main duties of the job
Keyboard skills required
Occasional moderate lifting
There is a frequent requirement for light physical effort for severallong periods during a shift
Frequent exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances due to the nature of the role.
Frequent exposure to difficult customers, service users, often inemotional circumstances
Requirement to use Visual Display Unit equipment continuouslymost days.
