We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated compassionate individual to join our team. An experienced nurse leader who is enthusiastic and dynamic. Working in conjunction with the wider hospital team to deliver a high standard of care to all our patients.Managing and leading a busy department and team of ED staff. Motivating and role modelling high standards, implementing and driving improvements and initiatives. Continuously striving to achieve an outstanding Emergency department.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will provide enthusiastic, passionate and innovative Nursing team leadership, demonstrating outstanding evidence based clinical practice and leadership within the multi-professional team, combined with clear and effective operational/resource management. To lead on the development of nursing practice and standards of care. To deputise for the Matron when necessary.
