The post holder will oversee a team at Whipps Cross Hospital and Newham. They will have the opportunity to work alongside different specialties including, Obstetric department, Urology department, Maternity department and attend MDT's.

Main duties of the job
o To provide specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients within the field of women's health, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundarieso To give highly specialist guidance and advice to other members of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) on matters relating to your specialist areao Provide leadership in developing, planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Pelvic Health clinic service provided to patients within your specialist area on a day to day basis and with a view to future developments
o To provide a lead role in teaching and supervising Student therapistso To provide line management and supervision to junior staff in your specialty area
o To deputise in the absence of senior colleagues as requiredo To evaluate the day to day running and development of the Pelvic Health service through the promotion, adaptation and development of policies, procedures and guidelines using evidence-based practice and current research and recommend and implement changes within areas of responsibility.
o To continually review the standards of practice and efficacy/efficiency of service delivery to Pelvic Health therapy patients and their carers throughout your area of responsibility and recommend changes in line with National Service Frameworks and clinical guidelines.
