Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Library Assistant to work alongside our highly skilled team, in the delivery of an exceptional knowledge and library service. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your information skills and paraprofessional knowledge while also contributing to new initiatives such as supporting staff digital literacy across the trust.
Based primarily at The Royal London Hospital, you will be part of a small team providing library services across the whole of Barts Health NHS Trust and may be expected to work across our other sites as required.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Library Operations Manager, you will support the day to day provision of library services to all Barts Health staff and contribute to the delivery of outreach services across the Trust. As Senior Library Assistant you will also supervise the day to day operations of the library service at the Royal London Hospital in the absence of a more senior member of library staff.
