We are inviting applications for a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pulmonary Rehabilitation (Band 6) to become an integral part of our multi-disciplinary, integrated, and award-winning team, ARCARE (Adult Respiratory Care and Rehabilitation).
Main duties of the job
Based primarily at Mile End Hospital, this full-time role offers the opportunity to work across various locations, including Royal London Hospital, St Barts Hospital, and several community venues in Tower Hamlets.
As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will:
- Provide expert physiotherapy input and leadership to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team.
- Work with a diverse population and settings such as gyms and community halls.
- Participate in research, audit and service improvement, we are a trial site for the IMPROVE trial. www.improvetrial.co.uk
- Engage in a comprehensive range of respiratory patient care activities, including inpatient reviews, diagnostic spirometry, follow-up clinics, virtual wards, home oxygen assessments, primary care education, and pulmonary rehabilitation
