To meet the growing demand for our innovative Outpatient we're recruiting a Band 3 HCSW in out-patient department at Newham University Hospital.
You will be supported by the Junior Sisters/Charge Nurse and will be working alongside with our leading consultants to ensure patients have quicker access to their consultations whilst receiving a high standard of clinical care.
Main duties of the job
To provide support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals by giving direct patient care and providing other support and administrative services under supervision.To assist in the maintenance of a health and hygienic environment.
To undertake customer care training and implement best practice when dealing with patients and other members of staff.
To maintain a flexible approach to team work within the department.To undertake other duties as requested by nurse in charge.
