Job summary
We are looking for Trust Doctors (ST1-2) Equivalent Level to start as soon as possible.
The contract is for 6 months initially, with a possible extension.
This post is not recognised for foundation training and therefore full GMC registration will be required. However, support will be provided for portfolio development and an educational supervisor will be allocated. You will be expected to provide clinical work cover and there may be educational opportunities which are run for the benefit of the Foundation year trainees.

Main duties of the job
- To work and provide clinical care to ensure patient safety and safe clinical practice
- To work with the nursing and allied health care staff to ensure good clinical care is provided
- To work under the guidance of the ED consultants and seek their advice as appropriate
- To work in designated areas of the ED which would include EA (Early assessment), Resuscitation, majors, minors and paediatrics with the appropriate support
- To work in the ED clinical decision unit area
- To continence to maintain their own CPD and address their learning needs as determined by local, regional and national directives.
