We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly medical team on Thistle Ward. It is a 26 bedded ward which specializes in Acute and Older Peoples Services.
We are looking for candidates who are able to work in a fast-paced environment and to develop themselves further.
Main duties of the job
The Health Care Assistant is a member of the ward / department team who implements prescribed care and undertakes administrative activities as directed by a registered nurse.
Minimum requirements: -
- Must be articulate, numerate and literate.
- Must have effective interpersonal skills, have a genuine desire to work with people, have a caring manner and be particularly interested in working in day surgery and assisting in clinics.
- Must uphold the vision and values of the Trust.Must have basic I.T. skills.
