We are looking for an experienced cashier to join our small team dealing with banking and expenses payments.
Barts health have a Cashiers office on each siyte, providing a banking service for miscellaneous in come and processing travel claims from patients who qualify for the Hospital Travel Costs Scheme. Cashiers have a nominated site,, but can be asked to work at other sites to provide cover as needed to maintain the service.
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient cashiering service to the Trust, including full administrative support for fares reimbursement of hospital travel costs when patients meet the refund criteria.
This involves ensuring all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, and that work practices conform with appropriate statutory regulations, standing financial instructions and other laid down internal procedures
