Job summary

The Clinical Systems Applications Support Team is looking for an Applications Support Administrator to complement our existing team. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team which provides 2nd line support for Cerner Millennium applications as well as downstream clinical systems across the Barts Health estate. The position will be to manage business as usual processes whilst adhering to local Trust policies and service level agreements.

This role requires a high quality approach to customer service as the job necessitates working with system end users as well as other teams within Informatics - Millennium Training team - and Human Resources - Registration Authority. The candidate must be able prioritise their workload autonomously, and able to work to strict deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, whilst previous experience with patient administration systems is desirable.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for supporting Cerner Millennium and other connected clinical systems. This includes managing the administrative processes associated with user account maintenance.

Responsible for embedding and streamlining procedures for Junior Doctor monthly intakes.

Ensuring Trust compliance with required Systems access and security protocols and procedures.

Responsible for liaising with user departments, Registration Authority and ICT teams to ensure appropriate turnaround times for user account configuration changes are met.

To uphold agreed service levels, standards and policies.
