We are offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our expanding home haemodialysis service as a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.

Main duties of the job
The junior sister/charge nurse has delegated responsibility for the management of clinical areas within the haemodialysis service and specifically allocated unit. The junior sister/charge nurse has delegated responsibility for the management of clinical areas including assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of care and the setting of standards of quality care. To deputise for the senior sister/charge nurse in their absence when necessary. Ensuring continuity and high standards of care including sharing ideas, information and feedback in order to empower patients and members of the multidisciplinary team.
The junior Sister/Charge Nurse will act as a credible and professional role model and encourage and empower other staff to develop both personally and professionally to achieve their maximum potential. Working closely with the haemodialysis nursing team the post holder is responsible for the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to meet patient needs and Unit objectives.
Demonstrating clinical expertise within haemodialysis in the assessment, planning, delivery of care using a holistic approach. The post holder must possess fundamental management and facilitation skills in order to co-ordinate and supervise the activity of Unit staff, promote multi-disciplinary working and foster a supportive, learning environment.
